PLACE: Armed Forces Recruitment Center, South Rd, Poughkeepsie [near Barnes and NOble]
TIME: 1-5? [depending on if/when the police kick us out]
WHY: to protest the unsavory and unethical methods used by military recruiters on impressionable teenagers to coax them into the armed forces. for instance, college money is promised, yet only about 35% of veterans ever even receive any substantial aid. not to mention that there are better ways to get money for college-ways that don't involve risking your life.
BRING: sunscreen, it's gonna be hot and sunny. water. signs. anti-recruitment literature/pamphlets. a good spirit!
